Ms. Nancy - Visual Art Instructor

Ms. Nancy

Ms. Nancy is a visual artist born and raised in central New Jersey. After studying sculpture at West Virginia University and  Education at Raritan Valley Community College, Nancy found her identity as an artist working with plaster, metal, and acrylic paint. She commonly focuses on faces and personas as her work's subject. Nancy is very excited to share her knowledge with young students who also have a passion for various visual arts! MRS, Sarah- Yoga instructor


Sara Aitken is a kids yoga teacher and mother of three. She loves teaching yoga and mindfulness to encourage connection and self-regulation to infants and their moms through tweens and teens aswell. She is a Registered Children's Yoga teacher through Yoga Aliance.

Ms. Charity - Piano & Voice Instructor

Mother of 4, talented and friendly piano, voice, and music teacher at acacnj. Graduated from Montclair State University. Teaching for over 20 years, she has develped a strong bond with children, and is a great teacher!

Miss Hanna - Dance Instructor


Hannah Arntzen has been dancing since the age of three. She has trained in all styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and modern. At the age of 10, she started dancing at the competitive level and continued through to the age of 18. Hannah then was a member of the Bloomsbury University Dance team for her four years of college as well as the President of the Bloomsburg University Dance Ensemble her senior year. At Bloomsburg, she dual majored in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as minoring in Dance. Her choreography was featured in the 2017 and 2018 Dance Minor Concerts and will be again this coming 2020 Dance Minor Concert. Through her years of dance, Hannah has worked and trained with many different dance professionals around the nation.

Ms. Heather - Wheel , Clay & Pottery Instructor


Heather Danchise is a ceramic artist based in New Jersey. She received a BA in Art Therapy at New Jersey City University, which gives her teaching techniques a therapeutic aspect. Upon graduating, she created Keezee Ceramics Studio: a safe space for makers of all ages and skill sets. Heather enjoys sharing her favorite parts of the process, creating an accessible, rewarding experience for kids. 

Ms. Natalia-visual arts intructor


Natalia has been working with children  her entire life. She is extremely loving and great with children of all ages and abilities.  Natalia  has a  real passion for working with kids. Natalia has worked and has  a great passion for art, having amazing skils in sewing, painting, drawing , and clay,  Kids who met Ms Natalia at the studio always acknoledge her for being such a frinedly, patient, and accomodating 

MISS. Juliana- culinary, Performing & Visual Arts assistant teacher


Juliana is a middle school student that is all about giving back to help. She helps at the art center classes, helps organize fundraisers, and sometimes appears in plays or classes there. During the summer she devotes all of her time at the center as a C.I.T(counselor in training)  helping with before care, crafts during the camp, and after care. The kids have all gotten to know her, and all really enjoy her time there.

Mr Ed- Guitar Instrucstor


 Ed Littman was born in New York City and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, the youngest of three children. Both parents are professional artists and opened Ed up to a world of creativity at a young age. Early on, Ed had been exposed to classical music, and at the age of 12, Ed heard Elvis Presley and fell in love with the Rock and Roll beat. Soon after, his parents Wally & Rosemary bought him his first album, The Beatles, “Revolver” which started an infatuation with that group and led to exposure to such artists as Chicago, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix. 

Mr Luke-drumming intructor



For the last several years, Luke Schaffel’s drumming with various groups has been earning a lot of recognition. Whether it is from winning numerous awards and scholarships as a jazz musician or being recognized by the press with his rock band The Clocktown Giants, the powerful and precise style of Luke’s playing is starting to catch everyone’s ear. Luke joined the Jazz Band at his high school at age 14. Having graduated with a jazz studies program from Montclair State University, Luke later went on to graduate from NYU Steinhardt with a Masters Degree in Jazz Performance. There he studied and played with some of the most recognizable names in modern music.
